Friends of Wake County GAL started The Back to School With Pride Project to help children maintain their sense of hope and excitement about the first day of school. We ensure that each child is ready to go, ready to do well, and ready to start school with pride. Help a child succeed! |

We locate sponsors who agree to help children start school with the supplies to succeed. Sponsors purchase book bags and supplies for a cost of $20.00 - $45.00 per child. We raise funds to help those children who are not sponsored by a group. Our Back to School Committee coordinates with sponsors and arranges for pick and distribution of the school supplies.

Solid colors, No advertising, No endorsements. Place tag on backpack if it contains supplies - labeling it "Elementary" or "High School".
